Refund and Cancellation Policy

GeoInfra Technologies India is committed to providing high-quality professional training in GIS, Remote Sensing, Geoinformatics, and related technologies. We encourage every student to carefully review the course details, duration, fee structure, installment plan, course requirements, and this Refund and Cancellation Policy before completing enrollment.

By enrolling in a course and making any payment, the student confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms stated below.

1. Refund Policy

1.1 Refund Before Commencement of Classes

Any request for cancellation and refund must be submitted before the commencement of classes.

Refund requests submitted before classes begin will be reviewed by GeoInfra Technologies India in accordance with the applicable enrollment terms.

Approval of a refund is not automatic merely because a request has been submitted.

1.2 No Refund Once Classes Have Commenced

Once classes have commenced, no refund of the course fee, enrollment fee, registration fee, or any installment paid will be provided.

This policy applies regardless of whether the student:

  • Attends only a few classes;

  • Stops attending classes;

  • Decides to discontinue the course;

  • Changes their career plans;

  • Obtains a job;

  • Joins another educational or training program;

  • Becomes unavailable due to personal or professional commitments;

  • Relocates to another city or country;

  • Experiences a change in personal circumstances;

  • Is unable to manage the course schedule; or

  • Voluntarily chooses not to continue the course.

Non-attendance or discontinuation after commencement of classes does not create an entitlement to a refund.

1.3 Enrollment / Registration Fee

Any enrollment, registration, admission, or booking amount paid to secure a seat in a course is non-refundable once the enrollment has been confirmed, unless GeoInfra Technologies India specifically agrees otherwise in writing.

2. Discontinuation or Drop-Out During the Course

If a student voluntarily discontinues, drops out, or stops attending the course after classes have commenced:

  1. No refund will be provided for any amount already paid.

  2. Any applicable pending installment or outstanding course fee remains payable according to the agreed payment plan.

  3. Discontinuation of attendance does not automatically cancel the student’s financial obligations under the enrollment/payment arrangement.

  4. The student will not be entitled to a course completion certificate until the applicable course requirements have been completed and all outstanding fees have been cleared.

  5. Subject to the conditions mentioned below, the student may request to resume and complete the remaining course.

3. 12-Month Course Completion Opportunity

If a student discontinues the course after commencement, GeoInfra Technologies India may allow the student to resume the remaining portion of the course and complete it within 12 months from the date of the last installment payment/drop-off date.

This facility is intended to provide students with an opportunity to complete their training if they are temporarily unable to continue.

The following conditions apply:

  • The student must contact GeoInfra Technologies India to request resumption of the course.

  • Resumption is subject to course, trainer, timetable, and technical availability.

  • The student must complete all applicable academic requirements.

  • Any outstanding course fees or installments must be cleared.

  • The 12-month period does not constitute a fee waiver, cancellation, or refund.

  • Any request to resume after the 12-month period may be considered solely at the discretion of GeoInfra Technologies India.

4. Pending Installments and Payment Obligations

Where a student has enrolled under an installment-based payment plan, the installment facility is only a method of paying the total agreed course fee in parts.

It does not mean that the student may cancel future payment obligations by discontinuing the course.

Accordingly:

  • The total course fee remains applicable as agreed at the time of enrollment.

  • Stopping attendance does not automatically cancel pending installments.

  • Pending installments remain payable according to the agreed payment terms.

  • GeoInfra Technologies India may suspend access to classes, projects, course materials, mentoring, or other course-related services if payments are overdue.

  • A student with outstanding dues will not be eligible for issuance of the course completion certificate.

5. Certificate Issuance

A course completion certificate will be issued only after the student has fulfilled all applicable requirements.

Depending on the course, these requirements may include:

  • Completion of the required training;

  • Completion of required assignments, projects, practical work, or assessments;

  • Satisfactory participation in the course;

  • Fulfilment of applicable attendance requirements; and

  • Full clearance of all course fees and outstanding installments.

A student who drops out, fails to complete the course requirements, or has outstanding fees will not be eligible for a course completion certificate.

Payment of only part of the course fee does not create an automatic right to receive a certificate.

6. Missed Classes and Non-Attendance

Failure to attend scheduled classes does not constitute cancellation of enrollment.

No refund, fee reduction, or waiver will be provided solely because a student:

  • Misses classes;

  • Fails to attend regularly;

  • Is unavailable at the scheduled time;

  • Does not respond to the trainer;

  • Does not complete assignments; or

  • Temporarily stops participating in the course.

Where alternative classes, recordings, or rescheduling options are provided, such arrangements will be subject to the availability and policies of GeoInfra Technologies India.

7. Rescheduling of Classes

Students may request a change in class timing or rescheduling where applicable.

Any such request will be considered subject to:

  • Trainer availability;

  • Course schedule;

  • Technical availability;

  • Existing student commitments; and

  • The overall course structure.

A student’s inability to attend a particular schedule does not by itself create a right to cancel the course or obtain a refund.

8. Course Content, Faculty, and Training Structure

GeoInfra Technologies India reserves the right to reasonably update, modify, improve, or reorganize:

  • Course curriculum;

  • Training materials;

  • Software versions;

  • Practical exercises;

  • Assignments;

  • Projects;

  • Trainers/faculty;

  • Teaching methodology; or

  • Class schedules.

Such changes may be made to maintain the quality, relevance, and effectiveness of the training and will not automatically constitute grounds for a refund.

9. Technical Issues and Internet Connectivity

For online training programs, students are responsible for maintaining suitable:

  • Internet connectivity;

  • Computer/laptop or compatible device;

  • Required software where applicable; and

  • Basic technical setup required to participate in classes.

Temporary technical problems, internet interruptions, device problems, power failures, or issues arising from the student’s own equipment or internet service will not automatically qualify the student for a refund.

GeoInfra Technologies India will make reasonable efforts to assist students with genuine training-related technical issues within its control.

10. Change of Career, Employment, or Personal Circumstances

A student’s personal or professional circumstances do not automatically create a right to a refund.

This includes circumstances such as:

  • Obtaining employment;

  • Changing employment;

  • Changing career plans;

  • Pursuing another course;

  • Relocation;

  • Personal commitments;

  • Family commitments;

  • Travel;

  • Financial circumstances arising after enrollment; or

  • Loss of interest in the course.

Students are therefore advised to carefully consider their availability and commitment before enrolling.

11. Cancellation by GeoInfra Technologies India

GeoInfra Technologies India reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, modify, or cancel a course where reasonably necessary due to circumstances including:

  • Unforeseen circumstances;

  • Technical or operational issues;

  • Faculty availability;

  • Force majeure events;

  • Changes in course availability; or

  • Other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of GeoInfra Technologies India.

Where GeoInfra Technologies India cancels a course and is unable to provide a reasonable alternative or rescheduled training arrangement, an appropriate refund or alternative arrangement may be provided, as determined by GeoInfra Technologies India.

12. Refund Processing

Where a refund has been specifically approved by GeoInfra Technologies India:

  • The refund will generally be processed through the original payment method wherever technically possible.

  • Applicable payment gateway, banking, transaction, or processing charges may be deducted where applicable.

  • The processing time may depend on the payment gateway, bank, or financial institution.

  • Submission of a refund request does not constitute approval of the refund.

13. Course Materials and Digital Resources

Course materials and resources provided or made available to the student may include:

  • Digital study materials;

  • Datasets;

  • Assignments;

  • Project resources;

  • Recorded sessions, where applicable;

  • Software guidance;

  • Online resources; and

  • Other digital learning resources.

Once such materials or access have been provided, they are non-refundable.

Students must not reproduce, distribute, sell, share, publish, or commercially exploit GeoInfra Technologies India’s proprietary course materials without prior written permission.

14. Transfer of Enrollment

Course enrollment is personal to the registered student.

A student may not transfer, sell, assign, or allow another person to use their enrollment, course access, account, or training benefits without prior written approval from GeoInfra Technologies India.

15. Promotional, Discounted, or Special Fees

Courses offered under promotional pricing, discounts, scholarships, special offers, or other preferential pricing may be subject to additional terms and conditions.

Where applicable, the specific terms communicated to the student at the time of enrollment shall apply.

16. Payment Default

If an installment or other course payment becomes overdue, GeoInfra Technologies India may temporarily suspend the student’s access to:

  • Classes;

  • Course materials;

  • Projects;

  • Mentoring;

  • Assessments;

  • Learning resources; or

  • Other course-related services.

Access may be restored after the applicable outstanding amount has been cleared, subject to course availability and other applicable terms.

17. Refund Request Process

All refund or cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email to:

The request should include:

  • Student’s full name;

  • Course name;

  • Enrollment/registration details;

  • Date of enrollment;

  • Payment details; and

  • Reason for the request.

The subject line should be:

Refund Request – [Student Name]

The request will be reviewed according to this policy and the terms applicable to the student’s enrollment.

18. Acknowledgement and Acceptance

By completing enrollment, submitting registration details, accepting the course terms, or making any payment towards a course, the student acknowledges that they have had the opportunity to review and understand:

  • The course fee;

  • Installment/payment schedule;

  • Course duration;

  • Course requirements;

  • Refund Policy;

  • Cancellation Policy;

  • Certificate conditions; and

  • Applicable terms of enrollment.

The student agrees to be bound by these terms.

GeoInfra Technologies India reserves the right to amend this policy from time to time. The version applicable to the student’s enrollment and the terms communicated at the time of enrollment shall govern the student’s course participation, subject to applicable law.
